  • Schedule: 10 hour shift-7:00am-5:30pm working every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.
  • Greet patients and visitors, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, distribute mail and perform other general clerical duties.
  • Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.
  • Type various reports and document for unit staff.
  • Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. Assemble and maintain patient charts.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Coordinator specializing in Healthcare preferred.
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
      • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
